Routing: Arusha - Lake Eyasi - Ngorongoro - Serengeti - Arusha
Day 1: Drive Arusha to Karatu (Lake Eyasi)
Breakfast at your hotel in Arusha town. Mid-morning relax till lunch time. Afternoon depart from Arusha arriving in the evening at Gibb’s Farm. Dinner and overnight at Gibb’s Farm or similar.
Day 2: Day in Karatu (Lake Eyasi)
Breakfast at Gibbs Farm. After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi. You will visit the hunter-gatherer people of Hadzabe and the Datoga. Picnic lunch is served on the shores of lake Eyasi. Afternoon return to Gibb’s Farm for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation
Breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast tour the the farms and the village of Karatu. You may also visit Tloma primary school or an orphanage in the area. Return to Gibb’s Farm for lunch. After lunch, drive on to Ngorongoro. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation - Crater tour
This morning descend into the Ngorongoro for a half-day tour within the crater. After the crater tour, return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon relax till late afternoon time for a nature walk on the rim of the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 5: Drive Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti national park. You will have stop over at the Ol Duvai gorge. Later proceed to Serengeti to arrive in time for lunch at your campsite. 1630 hours, game drive begins till sunset. Dinner and overnight at a private mobile tented camp.
Day 6 and 7: Day in Serengeti
Full day game activities in the Serengeti. All meals at your Private mobile tented camp.
Day 8: Fly Serengeti to Arusha – Depart
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the flight back to Arusha. On arrival, pick up and transfer either to a hotel in Arusha or to the airport for flight back home.
